Faculty members from Catanduanes State University (CatSU) visited ASOG TBI on July 15, 2025, to gather insights that will inform the establishment of the university’s planned CatSU Entrepreneurship Incubation Center (CEIC).
The delegation, composed of six faculty members from CatSU’s College of Business and Accountancy under the BS Entrepreneurship program, engaged in discussions on incubation operations, startup engagement strategies, and sustainability models currently implemented at ASOG TBI.
The benchmarking activity aimed to provide practical references as CatSU develops its own incubation framework.
Insights from the visit are expected to contribute to the CEIC’s institutional roadmap and support a forthcoming research initiative examining best practices in technology business incubation across the Bicol region.
The visiting faculty were welcomed by CSPC President Dr. Amado A. Oliva Jr., Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Collaboration Dr. Challiz D. Omorog, and Information Officer Dr. Noel R. Volante, alongside members of the ASOG TBI team, who facilitated a facility tour and knowledge-sharing session focused on strengthening innovation ecosystems in rural areas.
