ASOG TBI ALTITUDE Program ranks 26th worldwide in WURI 2026

The ALTITUDE Program of the ASOG Technology Business Incubator (ASOG TBI) ranked 26th worldwide in the University-Based Entrepreneurial Projects Top 100 category of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026.

The recognition places the program among university-based entrepreneurship and startup incubation initiatives recognized for innovation, industry engagement, and societal impact.

For innovation and societal impact

The World University Rankings for Innovation evaluate higher education institutions and innovation programs based on their practical contributions to industry and society through education, research, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.

The ranking system covers 24 categories that measure innovation targets and institutional approaches across participating universities and innovation programs worldwide.

Support for Bicol Region

ALTITUDE, which stands for Advancing Local Technology and Innovation through Transformative Upskilling, Development, and Entrepreneurship, serves as the official incubation program of ASOG TBI at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges.

Funded by the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD), the program supports early-stage startups in the Bicol Region that develop engineering and artificial intelligence-driven solutions for food value chain management.

The six-month incubation program provides mentorship, technical and business development support, market matching opportunities, and access to strategic networks that help startups prepare for registration, investment, and commercialization.

Structured startup pathway

The ALTITUDE Program follows a staged startup incubation framework that begins with an awareness caravan for startup identification and recruitment.

Trailhead focuses on idea validation and team development, while Basecamp supports incubation, product refinement, and market validation. The Ascent and Summit Launch phases prepare startups for commercialization, investor engagement, scaling, and post-incubation growth.

International recognition for ASOG TBI

The WURI 2026 recognition places ASOG TBI among institutions included in the global ranking system that highlights innovative approaches in university-based entrepreneurship, startup incubation, and technology-driven innovation.

The recognition also highlights the growing role of startup incubation programs in strengthening regional innovation ecosystems and supporting technology-enabled enterprises in the Philippines.
